Barbara Cramer, a 75-year-old employee at McDonald’s, revealed she has been working at the fast food joint for 53 years — and still has no plans to retire.

The Florida woman started working at the Fort Pierce location in 1970 after applying for a job on the school board.

However, once Ronald McDonald offered her a position, she immediately accepted it.

“I just love it here,” Cramer, originally from New Jersey, told West Palm Beach station WPTV.

“I came here and I winded up, you know, working my way up,” she added.

Over the years, she worked at several restaurant locations but always preferred her original spot in Fort Pierce. She even met her first and second husbands from McDonald’s before they passed away.

Five decades later, Cramer’s coworkers call her the “McLegend” for her commitment to the establishment.

The team hosted an anniversary celebration to honor her service on Wednesday, Dec. 20, but she made sure to let people know it wasn’t her last day because she had no plans to retire soon.

Cramer teared up as she reflected on her time working at McDonald’s, claiming it has meant “everything” to her.

Ricky Wade, the owner of the Fort Pierce McDonald’s, applauded Cramer’s dedication to the burger joint at the festivities, an event filled with cake and balloons.

“We are honored to celebrate this special moment with you,” he added. “Proud to have you as part of our family.”

While full retirement isn’t in her near future, she does plan to keep working part-time, calling herself “semi-retired.”
